POS Printer and Printtemplate settings
The POS print and template settings can be set by Price type. ‘Receipt printer’ provides a print through the receipt printer and the ‘Ticket printer’ provides a print through a ticket printer (e.g. Boca). The ticket printer often has pre-printed tickets lying around that have a barcode and validity printed on them at the time of sale.
The print template is a template where the layout of the print is prepared. For a template via a Ticket printer, it is necessary for the layout to fit on the pre-printed cards. For checkout items you only want to sell, not scan at entrance, choose NoPrint.
When the item is ready and all settings are correct, the new Price type can be saved by clicking on ‘Save’.
The Pricetype can be used by linking it to a pricekey. You can read more about this here: Adding a Pricetype to a sales period .
