Every item within the Ticketcounter system that can be sold and must be scanned is provided with a scan definition.
After logging into the Admin click on Settings → Scanning → Scan definitions. If definitions have been previously created they will be shown in a list immediately.
Click ‘Add scan definition’.

Enter the name of the scan definition. It is recommended to choose a name that shows clearly what the definition means for scanning.

Enable the scan group(s) that should be active for this scan definition.

Open the enabled scan group by clicking on the scan group name line. Enter the desired settings.

Most important are the settings for the number of scans.
Select ‘Quantity’ and '1' in the input field next to it for one scan in the selected scan group.
Save the new definition by clicking 'Save'.
