You can set the POS to automatically log out after there has been no activity on the cash register for a certain amount of time. In addition, the idea is to always log out if you are not at the cash register. This can be done via the 'Log out' button in the menu. You can easily log in again with your PIN code.

Do you have an account that allows you to change POS settings? In the cash register, go to Settings → General. Here you will see 'Automatically log out'. Place a check mark here, then you can also adjust after how many minutes you will be automatically logged out.
