Before you can continue setting up the TicketCounter, you will receive a ‘PartnerKey’ from us. This is a unique key with which your company is registered in our system (example key: C28CB533-919A-442B-9DAC-D0600BEEBF23).
If you have not yet received this key from us, you can request it from us via email address: partner@ticketcounter.nl .

Creating an External System
Once you have the PartnerKey, you can start configuring the function that determines which data the TicketCounter will show for you.
To do this, go to our online Admin environment and select 'External Systems' in the left menu. Click on 'Add external system'.
On the page shown, you then choose the TicketCounter by selecting the icon below:
The following screen will then be displayed, in which a number of details must be entered:
- External System Type: This should already be as shown above. If this is not the case, select 'Ticket counter counter' from the list.
- API Key: An automatically generated password will be placed here. Save this carefully, because it must be entered later in the TicketCounter settings and it will no longer be shown in the Admin. Only '(*******)' is shown there.
- Count type: This chooses the function the TicketCounter is going to get. Choose one of the previously mentioned data overviews here:
- AmountOfSoldTicketsToday: Number of sold tickets.
- AmountOfTicketsScannedToday: Number of scanned tickets.
- AmountOfTicketsCheckedInOutToday: Number of guests present.
- Scan group: Select the desired scan group here.
Click 'Save' when all the above information has been entered.
Success? Continue here with setting up the TicketCounter itself.
